All the helpful functions are under the text box, so you don’t have to go looking for them (keeping in mind this is the PC version). The look and style of the GUI is fitting as well. Also, ***SPOILER*** I thought it was really cool how one of the MC’s eyes change color after her powers are awakened. Yay for an MC with glasses! I really appreciate the subtle changes as well, like small changes in facial expressions. Like the unique hair colors (thank you!), the clothing styles, and the accessories. It might look familiar, because the artist has also posted Voltage fanart as well! It’s a more realistic style, and it fits the theme and mood of the game. You can find longer descriptions of all the characters in the game or descriptions of the first four here.Īrt/GUI: The art is a soft, painted style. Professor Kazama – A professor of Mystical Studies, he cares about his students. Takumi – Flirty and free-spirited, he seems like a strong personality, but somehow he also has a comforting presence. Shinji – He’s friendly and helpful, but it feels like he’s also keeping a distance. Tatsuya – He’s serious, somewhat disinterested, and irritable, but he also has a caring side. He can be insecure and doubtful about himself though. Shou – Also a first year, Shou is cheerful and upbeat. She isn’t really affected by possibly romantic moments, like when Shou stops her from falling (he’s the one that gets flustered!) She’s more reserved and independent, and she has a tendency to put logic first, sometimes to the point of not acknowledging some of the mystical things that have happened to her. It’s a small thing, but this aspect goes a long way in shaping each character’s personality.Ĭharacters: Tsubasa, the MC, is serious and logical, putting academics first. But the other characters have their own speech patterns too. She’s more formal, and at first I thought it was a quality of the writing. One thing that struck me is Tsubasa’s speech. Plus, I’m sure many of the questions brought up in the prologue will be addressed in the routes! And the minimal explanation and faster pace of the very beginning matches her serious and logical personality. Then I started to realize that the missing information actually just mirrors how much information Tsubasa is missing herself. However, when the story starts adding in the mystical elements, the writing really comes into its own. So in the beginning, it felt rushed to me. Or how the dynamic between Tsubasa and her mother seems awkward.

Like how no one introduces Tsubasa at her first time at the Business Club. I felt like I was missing some information. No information or background is given, and the scenes are short (you can find out a little more info at the creator’s synopsis). Writing: The prologue starts off a little quick. Character bios are also available at the character selection screen. The demo includes the prologue and a sneak peak of each guy’s first chapter. There’s a common prologue, and then you choose a route. The setup is comparable to Voltage games.

Each route and/or the entire game will be priced comparable to the mobile versions of Amnesia and Hakuoki (possibly $3 per chapter, or around $30 dollars for the entire game), but pricing is still tentative. Gameplay: The demo is for PC, but the final product will be available for iOS, Android, and through Steam. Not to mention that some of her classmates aren’t human either! With new powers too strong for her to control, Tsubasa is asked to choose a partner to help her and guide her in her mystical education until she can learn to control them. That is until she finds out she’s not a regular human and now a powerful sorceress. Synopsis: It’s Tsubasa’s first week at university, and though prone to getting lost, she manages it all with a cool head. Links: Tumblr | Twitter | Facebook | Patreon | itch.io | Steam
